Released Version V6Preview5

In addition to major LTS versions, intermediate preview versions will now be released quarterly. Along with SyrveRMS 6.4, V6Preview5 is being released.

Since waiting for the release of the next LTS version took too long (up to two years), and the capabilities of the previously released stable LTS version were sometimes insufficient, many plugin developers were effectively forced to use the unversioned interface of the developing LTS version, after changes to which the plugins would stop working. To address this issue, preview versions are being introduced. The two-year development cycle of the LTS version is divided into 8 three-month segments, with a new version released at the end of each segment: after the first 7 segments — intermediate preview versions, and at the end of the last segment — the LTS version itself.

A visual release schedule can be viewed in the article on version management. The described release scheme will take effect starting with V7. For V6, the first and last public preview version is V6Preview5, after which the V6 itself will be released.

By the way, with the release of V6 and the start of V7 development, support for V4 will cease. Just reminding.
